Today my department "Serpiente Chocolate" acted out our Steve Irwin skit. We had been making notes and practicing since Monday, and it all payed off. I think that we did a pretty good job, and had some great facts. In our skit we had to incorporate 10 important facts about our animal department and try to make it as fun and creative as possible. For our skit, we made a Steve Irwin TV show and as he found animals, they would speak to him and tell him cool facts about reptiles and amphibians. Although we had a very small amount of time to practice, it turned out to be a pretty fun and funny activity. Also today, Neil and I were set to research the religion aspect of the Mayan Civilization. After we learn a lot about the religious parts of the Mayans, our department will be teaching a lesson plan about the civilization.
